Gasmet Technologies is a leading supplier of gas monitoring systems for demanding industrial and environmental applications. Majority of these systems are used for continuous emissions monitoring (CEM) in power plants, incineration plants and cement kilns. For example, Finnish Waste Management company Ekokem Oy Ab uses Gasmet™ CEM systems to monitor the compliance of its waste incineration plants. Emissions of gaseous compounds such as SO2, CO, NOx, HCl, HF are measured according to Waste Incineration Directive 2000/76/EC. According to this directive, the monitoring system need to be accurate enough the measure concentrations of gases that are as low as ppm (parts per million). In addition, the system needs to achieve 95% availability. Gasmet CEMS has been certified by authorization bodies such as TÜV (Germany) and MCERTS (UK) and thus it´s very well suited for these types of measurements.
Gasmet Technologies also supplies portable analyzers for short-term monitoring campaigns in applications such as industrial hygiene and indoor air measurements. Portable analyzers are also available for detection of toxic gases and are used by various authorities (police, fire brigades, military) worldwide.
