Tana Oy manufactures machinery and equipment for mechanical treatment of solid waste. Exports make approx. 95% of total turnover. Sales network in 40 countries. Third largest manufacturer of landfill compactors in the world and 20% market share in landfill compactors worldwide (excl. NAFTA). Main market areas: Australia, Eastern Europe and Nigeria of developing countries. Tana launched the Tana Shark slow speed mobile shredder in 2006 and the new model line in the end of 2008. Main market area for shredders is Western Europe and the most important areas for Tana are Benelux, the Nordic countries and Spain.
