There are plenty of support organizations and clusters working for the companies in the Finnish cleantech sector. According to WEF’s Global Competitiveness Report 2008 the Cluster development level in Finland is at very high rate.

Lahti Science and Business Park Ltd (LahtiSBP) promotes the establishment and development of growth companies and investments to the Lahti region and cultivates innovative activity in the area. Cleantech has been the main focus area in Lahti since 2005.
Lahti Science and Business Park has the strong national role as since 2007 it has been in responsible for the development and internationalisation of the Finnish Cleantech Cluster. Operations cover internationalisation programmes to China, Russia and India, Lahti region local operations as well as national advisory service for Finnish growth companies with an access over 200 cleantech companies in Finland.
Green Net Finland is a cleantech business network of 60 organisations, including major corporations and SMEs, cities, regional organisations, universities and research centres. Their mission is to promote cleantech innovations and the growth of business, exports and expertise through public-private cooperation, networking and project development.
Since 2007, Green Net Finland has been responsible for coordinating the work of the Finnish Cleantech Cluster in the Greater Helsinki region. Major focus areas are environmental monitoring and clean energy, particularly related to energy efficiency in urban areas, combined with cross-cutting, innovative applications of ICT-expertise in these sectors. Internationalisation activities and the commercialisation of cleantech innovations are also an important part of Green Net Finland's operations.
