KONE elevators and escalators to enable smooth people flow across Ningtian Intercity Rail Line in China

KONE has won an order to supply 41 KONE MonoSpace® elevators and 76 KONE TransitMaster® escalators for the first phase of the Ningtian Intercity Rail Line in the city of Nanjing, China.
The 45 km long rail line will link the Luhe and Pukou districts of Nanjing, the second-largest commercial center in Eastern China after Shanghai. The metro line will be composed of 17 stations, including eleven elevated stations and six underground ones.

Vacon has begun the production of solar inverters in the company's factory in Bangalore, India.
Vacon's solar inverters, rated from 10 to 1,200 kW, are cabinet-installed systems, and they are based on Vacon's state-of-the-art AC drive technology. Svenska Kraftnät, the Swedish National Grid, has awarded Pöyry an engineering assignment within an ongoing framework agreement. The project is part of a large scale investment plan for the regeneration of the Swedish national and regional electricity grids.
